In the dark chamber under the dome are the tombs of both the king and the queen. On the walls are some rhymes written in the Koran using different colored pieces of glass. It has four minarets placed in all four corners in a very attractive manner. Last summer vacation, I visited the historic city of Delhi. It was an adventurous and exciting experience. We took a train to Delhi, where we first went to our grandparents' house and then rested for a few hours. Delhi has been known by different names at different times. In ancient times it was known as Indraprastha, in medieval times it was known as Tughlaq Abad. Many monuments in Delhi are famous for their history. Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun Tomb, Jantar Mantar, and Qutub Miner are located here which makes Delhi rich in history and India's glorious past is told through these monuments. Meanwhile, there are many wonders of modern times like Rastafari Bhawan, Parliament, Lotus Temple, and so on.
